Is this your new assignment? Congrats!

BTW - saw an excellent 5-part documentary on the B-1B Bomber. Development thru it's nuclear cold war roll, through its current day roll.

It's a damn shame what they make it do now just to justify its existence. A Ferrari that has to serve as a dump truck.

Also never knew is has NO defensive weapons! I thought it at least had a cannon. Nothing. No air to air missles, no guns, no nothing. Only chaff, flare, and getting low and running supersonic 500ft of the ground on autopilot navigation.

Congrats on your 1st choice. But why Japan?

You'll have to bring back some of those grey market type bikes.

Japan was not my first choice, but mostly because of the Fukushima plant. I lived at Yokota for a short time as a kid, i loved it. I wanted Germany, but Japan is incredible. My Flt/CC told me they fought hard to get me this assignment, which is fucking awesome....now, where did Solo904 go, I need to know about racing in Japan

I'll come visit and be pit-bitch.

Congrats on getting your choice!
I loved watching those things land on the dirt drop-zone to pick us up when I was in the 82nd.

Have fun man. How tall is that vert stab again? They are doing some fun stuff with the gun ship variant.

gunships are sweet, but flying low is where its at, gunships orbit and shoot, I'd rather fly 50-500 above the earth and dodge fences/cows/towers/mountains

Steve, hell yeah dude, I'm definitely going racing over there...hope folks can make it over to visit at some point, I'm gonna live right outside Tokyo, my geography is 20 years old, but Yokota was a short train ride away from downton Tokyo as I remember so it'll be sweet
