I'd say you prolly jumped the gun on selling the car. Cops are already not a fan of sportbikes in most cases. Combine that with a DUI bust you're either buying another car with the quickness or taking the bus or walking bro.

Good luck!

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

BOOSTZX3 : in all seriousness head injuries ain't no joke. I've had around 10 concussions and now I ride a Buell Don't let it happen to you!

On a motorcycle - I've never heard of it.
On a car, they'll usually ask you to do it.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

- Nicolo Machiavelli 1469-1527

What I'm saying is you should hope they do have an ignition interlock system for a motorcycle, if not they're going to say tough luck sorry for ya...trust me

Don't you need 2 or 3 dui's to be required for interlock?

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, it’s like this…A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

Yeah, the only time I've ever heard of getting an interlock is if it's court-ordered.

Just plead guilty to a DUI in June. So I've learned anything over.15 you will be required to get an interlock. I got a restricted license for going to ASAP classes and they took my M class. I dont know why this happened because upon talking to someone in my ASAP class he went to a different DMV and didnt take his. I went to the Westfields DMV and argued with the supervisor saying that was rediculous but she said it was state law so thats where I left it. As far as being able to put an interlock on a bike I have no clue.

My charge-DUI
Plea-Guilty
BAC-.13
Sentence-90 days in jail 85 suspended, $800 fine, ASAP class costing $350

Charge was a misdemeaner so had to serve 3 actual days in jail and only had to pay $400 for the fine.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. I'm no lawyer I can just tell you what I know and have heard directly from others who went through the same thing.
