JailbreakMe, the infamous browser-based jailbreak service, has just landed in full force andbrings with it support for iOS 4.3.3, including support for the iPad 2. The jailbreak was made possible thanks to iPhone hacking all-stars comex , Grant Paul (aka chpwn ), and Jay Freeman (aka saurik ). This is also the first released jailbreak for the iPad 2, which came out back on March 11th.

Do not install 4.3.4 which will likely be out in a week or less to specifically patch the PDF exploit used to jailbreak 4.3.3.

lol the RO chick got an Iphone 4 last year...havent been able to use it in RO at all...she just told me yesterday that they now have a jailbreak so she can use her phone.

I dunno, there is little to no reason nowadays to jailbreak my iPad IMO. Mine isn't even jailbroken anymore.

JB'ing shouldn't have changed anything w/respect to performance. It's simply like turning turning a switch from NO to YES.

How many tweaks were you running? That's typically what effects the performance.
