Standing in the PX a week ago and who should walk through the door??? My boy Ty. Now remember, I haven't seen this cat in over 3 years, but when we were stationed at Myer, we wreaked some havoc.

Now of course he's a Sniper, resident badass, blah blah blah, but an all around great guy. Plus Ty and Brandi's son Jace is only 3 months younger than my daughter Yasmin. Had some good times when he was here.

Anyways - he rides a 2004 R1 and the kid has no fear. But it's a small freakin' world, just waiting to see who pops up here next.

I've had some instances like that, to include running into one of my Drill Instructors...that was a site. Also, just recently found out that one of the guys from my first duty station is flying helicopters like me, only a different bird. I don't think those in the civilian sector truely understand it the same way the military does when we say it's a small world, but that it is.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, a beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally warn out and screaming WHOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!"

When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane!
