Japan Hit With 7.4 Magnitude Quake - Tsunami Warning Issue - April 7, 2011, 10:01 AM

Hit 20 minutes ago. Same region as before. Miyagi area. 5 ft waves expected.

Japan = Not Bi-Winning.

beat me to it.

Strong earthquake strikes Japan; tsunami alert issued | Detroit Free Press | freep.com

TOKYO — Japan was rattled by a strong aftershock and tsunami warning today nearly a month after a devastating earthquake and tsunami flattened the northeastern coast.
The Japan meteorological agency issued a tsunami warning for a wave of up to one meter. The warning was issued for a coastal area already torn apart by last month’s tsunami.

Officials say today’s quake was a 7.4-magnitude and hit 25miles under the water and off the coast of Miyagi prefecture. The quake that preceded last month’s tsunami was a 9.0-magnitude.

Buildings as far away as Tokyo shook for about a minute.

U.S. Geological Survey gave the preliminary magnitude as 7.4 and it struck off the eastern coast 60 miles from Sendai and 90 miles from Fukushima. It was about 215 miles from Tokyo.

The depth was 25 miles. Shallower quakes tend to be more destructive.

Hundreds of aftershocks have shaken the northeast region devastated by the March 11 earthquake, but few have been stronger than 7.0.

Japan is like that one guy in jail who never brings soap to the shower but still gets dominated by every other inmate.

USA fooked. Japan is the largest buyer of US T-bonds. They're not going to have the capital for purchases and will start selling off what they do have to fund their recovery.

God has nothing to do with this. Japan is formed from two plates. This was bound to happen. It is very sad but this is how the earth moves and changes.
