Event Sales & Guest Recruitment Coordinator

We’re looking for a bright, energetic professional, proficient in English and Italian, to perform the following duties for an event and online media we produce for the Italian home technology industry:
• Assist with sales of sponsorships and advertising
• Telephone and email correspondence to qualify prospects and arrange appointments for
• Senior sales
o Maintaining database records on outreach and prospect status
o Processing contracts
o Sale of small ticket sponsorships and online advertising
• Assist with summit guest recruitment and travel arrangement
o telephone and email correspondence to recruit hosted guest applications and agreements
o Air and rail travel arrangement and ground transportation planning
• Assist with onsite production, advance planning and operations including staffing registration desk
• Assist in other duties, such as translations, as necessary

Must be:
• Able to communicate with passion and intelligence by phone, email and face to face
• Interested in home tech/consumer electronics and the Italian/southern European market
• Familiar with basic principles of advertising, marketing, promotion, event marketing and sales
• Proficient in MS office applications – word, excel, PPT
• Capable of using sales contact management programs
• Willing to travel (including to Europe), estimated 10-15%
• Solid in customer service, capturing details required for good service and communicating with others on team involved in delivery of service
• A team player


Language skills in French and Spanish a plus. College degree preferred.


pay is 35-45k a year.

If it were more spanish than italian (say work on Spain region ) and paid twice the amount I'd be all about it!

I'm fluent in French and Spanish, but I know maybe 3 words of Italian. Is this a full-time position?

Yes it is a full time position, and sorry Italian is mandatory. It's an entry level job for someone fresh out of college I guess.
