Position Title: Frontline Representative
Direct Supervisor: Manager, Customer Service and Escalations
Work location: Vienna, Virginia
Position: Permanent Full-time
Job Requisition No. 175


Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service and Escalations, the Frontline Representative is responsible for taking ownership of unresolved customer issues that have resulted in escalations or cancellations. The Frontline Representative is expected to resolve customer issues within a twenty-four (24) hour timeframe. The work day will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Frontline Representative will be to:
  • Take incoming calls to corporate headquarters from disappointed/disgruntled customers
  • Respond to all emails and letters sent by dissatisfied customers to corporate headquarters or to SunRocket Officers
  • Resolve all complaints from local and federal agencies such as BBB, PUC, Attorney General Offices and the FCC
  • Manage all complaints sent to the BuilditBetter@sunrocket.com regarding escalations
  • Work with customers who would like to cancel for reasons due to a billing or LNP issue
  • Work all tickets in the Frontline queue, as well as the Customer Service first touch queue
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other SunRocket departments to achieve first call resolution
Education:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; an undergraduate degree is a plus.



Position Title: Service Delivery Representative
Direct Supervisor: Manager, E911 Validation OR Manager, LNP Service Delivery
Work location: Vienna, Virginia
Position: Temporary Full-time
Job Requisition No. 178


SunRocket is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, quick study with exceptional organizational and customer facing skills to join the Service Delivery department as a Service Delivery Representative. The purpose of this job is to assist with the activation of subscribers’ Internet phone service.

This is a temporary full-time position with an expected duration of ninety (90) days. Only candidates able to work the entire ninety days will be considered. The work day will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Service Delivery Representative will be to assist with the activation of subscribers’ Internet phone service by:

· working with various spreadsheets and internal SunRocket tools/systems
· contacting customers primarily by email and sometimes by phone to ensure satisfaction
· processing Local Number Portability orders
· handling escalations with vendors
· driving resources to meet high priority milestones, escalations and correct any discrepancies
· developing and maintaining working relationships internally with customers, operations and customer service representatives and management, as well as externally with carrier partners and vendors
· working various schedules and shifts to meet the needs of the business
· performing other duties as assigned

Once training is completed, representative will be expected to meet the established metrics for the particular assigned task.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
  • Proven interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in teams
  • Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills
  • Computer technology experience is required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of customer operations and flow, along with attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Local Number Portability is a plus, as is an understanding of network environments and the following areas:
o Voice activation and DID routing
o Network provisioning systems, processes and procedures
o Understanding of ILEC and CLEC ordering processes
o Customer service and reporting

In the absence of these requirements, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the aptitude to learn and gain these skills within two (2) weeks of start date.

Education:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; an undergraduate degree is a plus.

Position Title: SIP Engineer
Direct Supervisor: Chief Network Officer
Work location: Vienna, Virginia
Position: Permanent Full-time
Job Requisition No. 137


Reporting to the Chief Network Officer, the SIP Engineer will be responsible for design and implementation of various aspects of the SunRocket network. Please note that duties may be assigned and/or removed at any time. The purpose of this document is to give an overview of the position.

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the SIP Engineer will be:
  • Router and switch design, configuration, and implementation
  • Implementation and testing of IP networks
  • Analysis and resolution of network problems
  • Analysis of SIP call flows and SIP protocol issues
  • Configuration and operation of Session Boarder Controllers
  • Design and implementation of routing protocols
  • Interfacing with telecom service providers for service implementation and turn up
  • Assist in networking hardware and telecom services vendor analysis and recommendations
  • Tier 3 support for network and softswitch functionality and problem resolution
  • Support and configuration of network management systems
  • Analyzing network performance and making appropriate recommendations to assure the network performs adequately
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of networking experience, with an in-depth knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN technology, routing and switching, and a strong telephony background. It is preferred that candidate have experience with:
  • VoIP system, media gateways, and softswitches
  • Excellent understanding of the SIP protocol and SIP call flows
  • Good understanding of Linux and Solaris systems
  • Very proficient with Cisco IOS and Cisco hardware
  • Excellent communications skills

Education
An Engineering degree is desirable, with a concentration in Telecommunications or Computer Science preferred.

Travel Requirements
· Will require work at an alternate location in Ashburn, VA
· Occasional travel required
