Anybody else hear this rumor?

I think he could really turn the team around.

Forgot about a rumor, it's a reality.

I heard it this morning, I think he would do a good job. The team has alot of talent on it, he may be the man to bring it out of them. Can't do any worse.

I really think this could be a turn around point for the Redskins.

From a business standpoint it sure will keep the interest high in the team so no matter what Snyder pays for him he will get his money back.

It could be another Parcell's type story next season, I think the Redskins have enough talent to go 10-6 and get a wildcard birth.

Plus I think Champ Bailey will be more inclined to stay after this move.

Im not expecting a huge leap the first year. However i know snyder thinks gibbs is a god and will NOT interfere with the staff. If he does, i expect much hate mail and death threats to DAN. Id be happy to lead that effort. Fugger better keep out of gibbs' way!

What makes gibbs a hall of fame coach is his management ability. Thus shown in his nascar endever. He will bring the right staff under the new owner that make a huge difference on the field.

He commands respect and has produced results with semi-talented players. With more money for more talent, who knows what will happen. The NFL is different today than back then, but the fundamentals are there.

HE will produce results. How much? who knows? But i cant wait to find out!

Gibbs was a GREAT coach. But the question is..who is he going to surround himself with. Who is he going to bring with him. Thats the real question.

Gibbs has already recruted his old O line coach as the O cordinator and the old bills coach as the his asst, and many other respected names. all i can say is when i heard this i was running around in circles for like 5 min.
I think the funnest thing is the way reporters are responding, for the last few years it was all smart remarks about how the skin's suck, and their instability, but as of yesterday they all started saying WE'RE back, nothing like rainy day fans!
