Didn't he promise to leave the US if Trump is elected? Let's hope in 2017 he resides somewhere else.

That's the problem. Don't expect them to fix the problems. Expect them to just try instead of dividing the people so that they can stuff their own pockets.

I know. The world already was thinking that. Now that Trump is the official Republican nominee and Hillary is his opposition they're really going to have a field day.

He might have. If anyone seriously thinks Trump has any chance of actually getting elected I just have to say wow. And Hillary sucks almost just as bad lol.

So apparently you didn't watch the last video you posted where Stewart criticized the opposition party for trying to "freeze" the government.

If you think like you do (which I tend to agree with) do you really want the government taking more of your money to supposedly "do more"?

Yes he did. He actually criticized both parties. The "opposition" party wanted to freeze everything regardless of if it was good or bad for the people since if it was good than it would make the other party look good. If it was bad, then they could say "hey see!" we're stopping it because it's bad for you. He followed it up with the other party isn't that much better but at least they tried to do some good. That's my point. I want the government to start trying instead of saying screw you, if we can't do it then you can't do it either.

The government is going to take my money regardless of who takes power. If you think otherwise you're being very naive. And believe it or not I made a lot more money under Obama than I did under Bush and I don't care much for Obama. Did I pay more? I don't care, because my life improved. That's my metric. If I didn't have to live in Chicago I would have probably kept more though

The "opposition" party, no friend of mine, is at least the Yang to the Ying. As you and I have both stated, both of these parties are friends behind the scene and they seek to only preserve political power, influence, and money.

Look at what the Bush family is doing to Trump right now. It is well documented that the Clintons and Bushs are quite cheeky and friendly.

It is not suprising that you made more money under Obama. The top 5% did and the top 1% accumulated more wealth, as a percentage of the wealth creation, than any other 8 year span in history.

Yet the President markets himself as looking out for the little guy. He will be worth +100 million dollars the day he leaves office.

None of them care at all. There is reason that people go to Washington penniless and come out wealthy.

The problem that I have with Stewarts comments and ideas, is that he is a confessed liberal and thinks the government should just be taking more. He is somewhere between the Clinton and Sanders ether and that doesn't sit well with me.

Much like most of the bleeding heart liberals out there...if you think the government is the best steward of your money...stroke a bigger check come April 15th. They will cash it regardless.

At least one of the two major party candidates has had a career outside of government. That, in and of itself, should afford some brownie points in the greater comparison.
