Jonah Hill takes on '21 Jump Street'
Actor Jonah Hill is no stranger to playing high school students, but now he's getting ready to play a cop masquerading as a high school student in the big-screen version of the 1980s TV hit, "21 Jump Street."
"That should be shooting early next year," 26-year-old Hill, who is also writing the script, tells MTV News. "It will be my next movie. I won't do another movie before that movie as of right now."
The original "21 Jump Street" starred Holly Robinson Peete, Peter DeLuise, Dustin Nguyen, and, of course, Johnny Depp, who shot to superstardom as a baby-faced crime fighter. Hill has written a role for Depp into his script, and he says, "Hopefully, he does it. It would be awesome if he did it."
Though "Superbad" co-star Emma Stone is also rumored to be starring in the movie, Hill isn't revealing the names of the cast members just yet. But, he says, "I think we'll have some cool casting announcements to make very, very soon."

Should be interesting... I hope he doesn't turn it into a comedy..!

My vote for who should play Holly Robinson's role: (Zoe Saldana)

OR:

Thandie Newton

Either way...

Coincidentally, Zoe also happens to get my vote for a good session of pelvis punishing.

Thandie, although looking nothing like her age, is too old to play the role.

MAJOR EDIT: I confused family ties and that show with the 3 girls who lived in the boarding house...I think it was 2 white girls and one black girl...I dont remember..

what would be bad about Family Ties in 2010/2011....well ahem...I'd watch the porn version I guess....

also J.Hill needs to shave.....some weight? I dont' think it's possible for him at this point in his "acting" career to do anything other than mindless comedy....21 jump street...I don't know much about it, but I think it wasn't meant to be comedy...

between him and the knocked up guy they should have just done a movie about growing up and their antics...oh wait...wasn't that Superbad and Knocked Up combined with Pinnaple Express????
