Just curious, how do you make your Ramen noodles? - September 7, 2008, 11:28 PM

I need some new ideas for all these bags of noodles I've stocked up.

I usually add some Chinese sausage (or pre-cooked shrimp), boiled egg whites for protein, some onion for taste, bean sprouts for some crunchiness and the spicy seasoning and paste that come with the package.

Don't think those have msg. I know they're loaded with sodium. That's why I drink a ton of water when I eat those.

I've always heard you should never use the whole packet of seasoning that comes with them. Plus aren't all Ramen noodle fried? Check the fat content too.

I add sliced garlic to the water as I'm boiling it and some green onions. When im done cooking it, I add kimchi. Adds a little spice to it!

1. Peel lid back halfway
2. Fill container with water to waterline
3. Close lid and microwave on high for 3 to 4 min.
4. Let product stand for 1 min. before opening
5. Pour in bowl
6. Stare at soup in bowl
7. Realize that you will only acheive marginal satisfaction from this product
8. Pour soup down kitchen drain and head to the nearest PHO restaurant!

I make getto pho.

Sliced beef flank (best to freeze a beef flank and cut as needed, this way you can get paper thin slices that will cook instantly)

Fish sauce, diced chives, onion, sprouts, cilantro, basil, lime.

I use spicy beef ramen.

I havent made it in a while though.
