The hand rail on the escalator going down from the second floor to the first floor in the new area of Tyson's I, well it moves faster than the part you stand on. Don't look like a dumb ass. I took that hit for you.

That is all. Carry on.

I didn't bite it, but by the time I realized something was odd, I was all stretched out like a spider monkey.

Coulda been worse...a few years ago a buddy and I were at Fair Oaks on Father's Day and were kinda just haning out on the second floor just above the Foot Locker. Well this old guy getting on the escalator directly across from us passed out just as he stepped on. He fell against the moving hand rail which proceeded to "pull" him over. We watched him fall head first...and lifeless all the way to the ground floor. Well, he actually landed in the little atrium setup they have around most of the escalators. Lucky for him, as he was falling his feet started to come around and he actually landed on the backs of his shoulders. Surprisingly he was alright! Definitely stunned but he sat up and was coherent.

Going on year 4 and I can honestly say I don't recall an "Escalator Warning" thread before.

I am continually amazed at the topics that come up on this site (Dragula's don't count because they are all stolen from other sites)
