Kind of in need of a job. - November 19, 2007, 10:58 AM

Well I got laid off this morning, sort of. I am more than welcome to keep coming in everyday and working but there isnt any money to pay me. I would get paid for all my time i put in but they do not know when. as much as i would love to stay and work and get that big huge check when they finally have money to pay me. I do have bills that need to be paid and need to find some way of paying them. I will probably be going to get some seasonal work at UPS for the time being. That will get me through Christmas. I guess what im asking is if anybody out there knows of any work that might last for a couple months.

Thanx for your help

Dan

What are you looking to do? Maybe let us know any certifications you have or what kinds of jobs you'd like to find.

Sorry to hear that.
Being laid off sucks I know the feeling. Just stay positive, thats my best advise.

What type of race cars do you build/specialize in? A good wrench is always in demand. At least I hope so cause I'm kinda in the same boat as you, looking for a job and all.

Good luck!

All the kids would go home with mohawks and tattoo's down their legs.

Maybe it's what America needs?

I can ask my buddies at the Mustang shop if you'd be interested. You'd be going against traffic at least.

Zazza posted on their windows "looking for bouncers" ask Johnny Jinx for the 411. The way you get paid is by being made fun at by the DJ.

That really sux Dan, I know you loved it there!!! Seems strange that they laid you off due to no money since they are sponsored and all.

I too would like a new job but I have one so you first. I have no certs and cannot get security clearance (don't ask) but need something else. I'm sick to death of RV's and the idiots that run the place!

RIP Greg Walker, I will never forget you
