That Hillsville course looks pretty cool. The Trevorton area looks like fun too.

Trevorton PA about 3.5 hrs north in Central PA

Hillsville PA about 4.5 hours north west in Western PA about 15 miles north of beaver run. (i actually used to hillclimb on the current beaver run site when it was a old strip mine many years ago)

badass vids.

so it's pretty straightforward when you can make it up the hill. but what's the best procedure when you're partway up and the bike just starts digging in and not moving forward? i'm on street tires, and have no skill, so the aforementioned event occurs more then i'd like to admit. and most of the times it's on hills i can't even stand on let alone safely walk or turn the bike around on. what's the safest/easiest way to bail from a hill climb that is less then successful?

Turn left or right (whatever way is easier) rock the front wheel down, you may or may not need to get off the bike.

If it's steep enough it dosent matter what you want to do..

Ha..Hillsville isn't a very friendly place. Some people were robbed at gunpoint two weeks ago and had their bikes and quads stolen apparently

Then there's the issue that if you get caught it's not quite legal to be there.
