My first job was for an old hillbilly who raised mules and exotic cattle. I was 11 or 12 when I started and would go over on weekends to chop wood, dig holes, and cut weeds. The thing I remember most was sitting inside his filthy earthsheltered home by the fire, eating lunch and listening to Paul Harvey. Has anyone written a biography?

Wow my ex and I used to end our day talking about Paul Harvey's subjects. We used to love "and now... the rest of the story".

A bit of Americana that will be missed.

Cheers

His son will hopefully continue to carry on the tradition. What a captivating way to tell seldom heard stories. God speed Paul!

I remember when I used to spend weeks with My grandparents in the summer and we would listen to
him. He had one of the voices that you will always remember! RIP
