So I'm sitting here doing a little research. Need to survey a few people, what better place then right here.

I need to know about anybodys experience with limo services.

Mainly,.....

If you've ever used one, how was it, good time, good service? What did you like about it and what would you change?

If you've never used one I want to hear from you as well. Tell me what you would expect/desire.

If you could ( if you remember ) let me know what you used it for, the price and the company.

i have used various car services before...never once when i have rented a limo has it ever been on time.
secret to that is, tell them an hour earlier than what you really need, therefore, when they show up an hour later than scheduled you aren't screwed.
they aren't to costly, but make sure they allow you to bring alcohol or have it stoked for you...
tipping is good.
but remember when there time is up at the end of the night, they dont like to wait for you to long, so if u paid for up to midnight make sure your there at 1155

Don't remember much but I think I was in one because at the time I was a Crunk Ass Latina.....lol.... The only thing I really remember is that it was dirty and left a bad impression....so needless to say I never thought of renting one again. Although..if I was to get married (hint hint) .... I would want to rent a classic Rolls Royce.

Ok, So far we're dealing with dirty cars and lazy impatient drivers.. ok keep it coming.. and no I'm not looking to rent a car, I'm looking for other peoples opinions for a Competitive Analysis Im putting together.

I haven't ever been in one.

I've thought about renting one before, even looked into it some. What I remember is it was butt ass expensive for a small amount of time.

I would want:
clean
on time
driver who knows their way around town or anywhere (I've heard rumours of them getting lost)
not too expensive
booze and other beverages available or allowed
privacy screen (and no cameras mounted)
Non smoking (that's just me)
TV/DVD/Awesome sound system

I've been in several limos. It's only worth it if you spend a lot of time in it opposed to getting picked up and dropped off every hour or so.

A couple of things to keep in mind. Kxgirlz is right on about the tardiness of the drivers and about them stocking the liquor cabinet (check on the cost). Keep the number of passengers to a limit, although it may be crazy as hell but being cramped up ruins the moment.

3 really good friends of mine own limo biz's in MD.
One of them owns Cancun Cantina, and has other businesses as well. His is called. High Profile Limo. The 2nd is the largest limo biz in Md, ALL Stretched out. And the 3rd is a limo business out of Annapolis, the name of his slips my mind.
Each have ind. styles of limo, that say the other may not offer. My friend in Annapolis, is working on completing a custom classic surburban stretched out limo. Shawn from All Stretched out offers, Hummers, Navs, and other high end styles, super larger limos.
Consider the number of people you are taking, what you are using it for, and the overall impression you want to give.
Depending on what or when you need one for, I might be able to make some calls for you.

Cleanliness would be the big thing - limos I've been in before were dirty. Liquor is inconsequential - drink before, after and bring a flask. Timeliness - I hate paying for someone to be late. Those would be my primary concerns....

As far as a classic Rolls Royce....I was just going to have the plastics on my bike painted white....nothing's too good for the future Mrs. Whisper!
