On living in BFE and my trip to the DMV - November 7, 2006, 05:52 PM

As some of you know I moved to the Lake Anna area recently. Mineral VA. to be close. Well today I went to go change the registration address for my uncle. 5 mile trip to THE stoplight and theres the DMV. I roll into a parking spot in front of the door in. Im thinking thats nice. I step in and there are three people staring into space with nothing to do. After peeling off my helmet gloves and whatnot I pick the crosseyed one. First thaught was "this is gonna suck" Boy was I wrong!

It took me longer to get my shit off than to do 5 vehicles change of address!!!!!

Same kinda thing happens in Front Royal ask Guzz.

DMV!

3 trips which should have only been 2 at most. first time was the sellers fault cuz she filled out the title in the wrong place. 4 if you count me rushing to my credit union to get a notary and run back and they had closed on me. oh and i'm pretty damn sure they closed up early.

LOL welcome to the stix Dragula, hey dont think its like that in Culpeper, they studied DMV practices in Prince William so I am told. Give me a shout sometime. I forgot you moved down here and ended up riding around C'ville/UVA for abour 4 hours on Sunday out of boredom.

You don't live all too far from me Drag. I grew up in that area. I usually go to the DMV in King George. My experience is similar. It takes me longer to get there (15 minutes from work) than it does to complete my transaction.

I just went to the DMV out in Leesburg... I brought a magazine and some extra snacks for the baby thinking I would be their forever. Well I walked in at 11:05 and l was back in the car by 11:15. The worst DMV is the one in Manassas off 28 out towards the baseball fields. But there is good ones out there. Good Job Drag on getting the cake
