Local BMW Auto Dealers - February 28, 2007, 08:39 AM

I know there a few BMW drivers on here, so I thought I would see where you take your BMWs for service. We had a great dealership in Richmond that we used, but that's a little far for routine maintenance.

Any suggestions?

I have a friend who services mostly high end cars out of annapolis... He's NOT cheap - but does good work and stands behind it... He also rides...

He is only reason I bought a bmw with 110,000+ miles.. He has worked on it for some time and it runs like a swiss watch....

A light came on yesterday that says "Service Engine Soon." It's not quite ready for routine maintenance yet, so I need to have that checked out and don't want to wait.

avoid fairfax bmw...they are crooks!

We took Karli's M3 to get service and items were stolen from the car.

That and their service is piss poor...deal with them and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

+1 to that. That place is shady. I know of other peeps where the car has gotten damaged due to small lot and negligence.

BTW... big +1 to Sterling...it's a haul but they did work on my M3 and Karli's M3 (yes we both had M3s) and were very happy with the service and price.
