A Look At America's Millionaire Population - September 3, 2010, 11:53 PM

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

- Nicolo Machiavelli 1469-1527

Maybe there's hope for me.

I own one class ring, a $110 wedding band, and a G-Shock.

Umm... I'll stick with a Cartier Tank or a good Submariner over a G-Shock any day of the week.

They don't buy "jewelry" often because they own classic pieces or have them handed down to them.

Read "The Millionaire Mind' . . . it'll make you feel happy inside.

Better statistic is how many millionaires have active credit cards. You'll be surprised with the answer.

We all would - but not everyone can drop coin on a Cartier. Mechanical watches more or less are frivolous purchases nowadays considering quartz digitals are more accurate + all the crazy features one would want in a mechanical watch and more.

I bought a Ulysse Nardin GMT Big Date as a present to myself a few years back and I think I've worn it 25 times at most.

Millionaires have active credit cards - usually 2 at most - but they pay off the balances monthly.
