Looking for an apt. in Ashburn area... - August 9, 2008, 08:37 PM

Something simple in a decent area... anyone have any recommendations for places?
  • Can't qualify for low income
  • Must be in a good 'hood
  • Townhouse rental is not out of the question
  • Do not require a garage, but don't mind one either
  • Leasing options for less then a year would be good (3-6 months pref.)
  • Will not consider room rental in someone elses home
EDIT: May consider South Riding as well.

I live in the Ashborough and I love it. It's really nice, right behind the harris teeter in Ashburn Village just off Rt 7. I am friends with the property manager and can get the best deal available.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

Thanks all - I will keep this stuff in mind. Any additional would be great though.

Turkish - thanks for the heads up on being a Realtor, but we have already established a solid Realtor to use in the coming months.

I have a friend who lives in the ashborough also and it's really nice! Really nice apartments and the pools are nice there too. I believe they're running deals now.

Oh and at the Ashborough, you can get a garage if you prefer to have one.

Why yes it is! I don't live there though. My friend does and she's keeping it there for me because I can't keep my trailer at my townhouse.

What are you looking to pay for rent? MY place may be up for rent in the next couple of months and I'd be willing to do the short term lease thing. I have a townhouse with garage in the Ridges of Ashburn. I just haven't settled on the logistics of moving yet, which is why I say in the next couple of months. I'm probably trying to make that move in mid to late October.

Stacey - I know where your at ... Don't know if I want to wait that long though. Cheaper is always better since it's not going to be long term and we are ultimately looking to buy.
