Looking for new phone/plan - June 28, 2011, 03:52 PM

So I think it's time to get my own phone again. I canceled my plan last year when I got a new job because the company pays for me to have it on me 24/7.

Well I'm looking to change jobs again, so I probably need my own phone again. Any advice? I'd prefer a smartphone (now that I have one, I see it's usefulness)(partial to the iphone, but that's only because teh company gave me one and I have finally figured out how to use it), but I'm not set in stone. I just think all this shit is way overpriced.....dunno which network to go with.

Any advice? Thanks!

Sprint + find a way to get SERO Premium plan.

Best combo around. 4G costs just 50 a month and includes everything. 500 minutes and all unlimited data, and such.

Wait until end of July and get the phone which has been said to be the best ever seen...same phone Im getting. Samsung Galaxy S2.

Yes...apple is mad at them and tried to do a dispute which is stupid since their hardware was made Samsung.

I just got a brand new phone on Amazon Wireless for like $120 less than Verizon wanted...that was with an upgrade but I'm sure they'd be cheaper any other way as well. They sell through all the carriers to.

If you decide to go with Verizon, you might want to hurry up and do so before July 7th. They are switching to tiered data plans similar to AT&T and are getting rid of unlimited data. Just a heads up.
