Exclamation LOST GREYHOUND IN DC AREA - June 2, 2009, 08:13 AM

We just got word that there is a lost greyhound in the DC area. Her owners are asking for help in the search. If you are able to help, please read the information below. Thank you!

Here are the basics:
Gidget, a blue brindle female, was lost at 1:30 PM (June 1st) when she apparently bolted right off the owner's front porch and the dog walker let go of the leash. The owners lives in the 5400 block of 9th St
NW near the major streets of Georgia Ave and Kennedy in NW DC.

Gidget was supposedly last seen near 14th and Missouri and close to Rock Creek Park. They say she is friendly and food motivated.

Contact #s are:
Aja is at 612-207-3009. Please call her if you can help.

Will ride thru Rock Creek today and look around on my lunch break. Also they should call the park and let them know.

You could drive around with one of those fake rabbits hanging out the window.....jk

Found the ad http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/d...201239329.html any news yet? Dogs seem to be able to "sniff out" there homes after a while, gotta be alotta scents running through the air in a city environment though. Good luck to your friend

Also, this is the shelter run by D.C. animal control, if lost dog found seems like best bet it would end up here - (202)-576-6664, 1201 New York Ave N.E.
