I cannot stand those Jeeps. Pass 2 of them everyday. ICC, 495. They hide them behind Port-o-Johns on 95 or large construction equipment.

Mobile driver fleecing system.
The Jeep parks on the side of the highway, typically in regions where there is a change in limit or a specialized zone, essentially looking like nothing more than a broken down vehicle. If you drive by > 6mph over the limit, it takes a picture and sends you (or the registered owner) a portrait of your car with a mandatory donation to the MD Treasurer's Office.

DC used to park a camera car on 295 until someone stole it. Now they got the 'Officer in a Box', although someone put a tire on top of it and lit the tire on fire.

I would give someone $40 to see that.

Usually the mobile ones that look like an industrial generator with a large telescopic pole mounted camera do. Easiest way to disable it, like an AT-AT, just take out one of the legs.

The ground level mail boxed sized versions run on a pair of car batteries. It would be a shame if someone punched a hole in one with an awl and poured some sort of corrosive liquid onto the batteries and internal components.

Vasaline on the lense. It's cheap, won't come off in the rain and hard to spot unless you know it's there.
