metal detector anone? - May 14, 2007, 04:00 PM

Okay, so I need to enlist the help of someone who has a metal detector that I could borrow for a few hours....I was weed wacking this yard the other day and was holding the keys to the house i was at...well somewhere between starting to weed wack and finishing the key had detatched from teh rubber key chain and is now somehwere in the grass...either that or somewhere in the giant pile of cut grass....needless to say i've been looking all afternoon but no luck...so if someone has a metal detector of somesort and would be willing to let me borrow it...then i would love you forever...well for a little bit atleast. I'm in springfield/alexandria area. thanks people

If you cant find a metal detector. Go to Home Depot, They sell real big magnets for picking up dopped screws and nails from job sites. Get one of those and drag it over the yard.

Good Luck!

well..the magnet doesn't pick up keys for some reason, i tested it on my keys..it picked up the key ring but no key. but the key ring is so small sometimes teh magnet doesn't pick it up. Anyway i tried the magnet, nothing, so i'm hoping if anyone has a metal detector that it will be able to detect that key ring. This sucks..if these keys are gone i'll have to change the locks on the house...son of a... what sucks is i know the key is around the house somewhere, can't be anywhere else. gay
