Mid Ohio Rolex sports car crash - June 25, 2006, 08:18 PM

Anybody else see this yet? Just saw it on Windtunnel. I don't know about a video being post on the net yet.

A car got knocked off track then launched off a big bump, followed by some twists, flips and rolls.

I'll take my 90mph lowside over that.

Flipped 10 times. I blame it on the track. For the car going airborne. Imagine if it was motorcycle racing and the bike went into the grass and hit that hill?

That was a gruesome looking wreck. My man was apparently fine too. People used to tell me that's what was gonna happen to me and my M3.

Note to self: Don't go off the inside of the kink next week when riding with SBTT. I hope they do something about that.

Mid Ohio is a fun track. I was at the track about 2 weeks ago racing. Its a fast track but not the best track to go off on.

Yeah, I was watching that race when it happened. I couldn't believe it when that car went airborne. Had to rewind it about 10 times to see what he launched on. They never really showed a good angle, but it just looked like a hill leading up to that paved accesss road. Was glad to see him out of the car and looking OK. Hopefully they will level that out some. It's so high speed through there that a gravel trap on a bike would be nasty. I'll bet that guy that bumped him felt like an ass.

That was crazy to watch during the race. I think you can be sure they'll be levelling that out quite a bit more after this incident.

Quoted from AIM. A conversation with Dwight about him and Ben.
"cpsdwight: i couldnt believe that i was keeping him up"

Harvey - "I can't date fat chicks man, there's just too much material there. Someone's gotta be thin in the relationship and it's obviously not me."
