We had one but I don't remember it all. But it was not as good as yours. Actually kinda lame. And I remember my graduation too. Good times. Man that was so long ago.

"throwing hand grenades in (chose enemy of your liking) parades"
"killing the baby seals, arf arf"

that one got me in all kinds of trouble, but i wouldnt be asked to call cadance for atleast a month or two.

anyone remember

eyeballs sir

we said it when the guys in white trucks were driving around checking out different platoons so the DI didnt get caught doing something he shouldnt have

how about if you slipped up and said I..... for those non military everything was 3rd person.....

u would have to stand there and point at your eye and say eye then at yourself and say recruit and repeat it over and over and over....

one of my favorite memories of boot camp was at the rifle range. i was running targets up and the guy that was shooting kept hitting the storage shed behind the berm and completely missing the target . i started laughing my ass off and the DI was right behind me...

him "hendry is that funny"
me "no sir then bwahahaha
him " start tapping your left foot and do it till i come back
20 minutes later he asks again again i laugh
i stand there another 20 and swore my calf was falling off

my Di came up to me at graduation and told me he thought my left calf was bigger than my right for some reason just fuckin with me...
awsome guy even though he was tough

for us it was
DI: "eyes"
recruits: "SNAP!" *turning our heads and almost breaking our necks.

Not my favorite, but a pretty funny memory was.

I was an "artist recruit" and I was in the gear locker pretty much all week during team week with the guide and squad leaders and a "diet tray". Well the "diet tray" recruit snuck in a pack of skittles from the bag of nasties they gave us in the field. Our Toughest DI came in to check on us, and caught him stuffing his face. Brings us all out on the quarter deck whiling he stood in front of us eating his skittles. That part sucked, but the funny part was hearing DI's from other platoons calling him "SKITTLES!".

Did anyone ever make sugar cookies? You know... you are the cookie doing 8-counts in the sand trying to coat yourself... DI doesn't stop until he gets a sufficiently coated sugar cookie... hahahaha

its funny now... but back then, I hated sugar cookies with a passion!!!.

Truth: Marines are the Ambassadors in Blue, they can be found in all "climes" and place.

...But, do you know how a Marine "rates" the countries and cities he's toured?

...By how easy it is to get laid, get drunk, and get in a fight.

...Go figure.
