Good luck brother our prayers are with her. Luckily there is a couple of options that give her somewhat of a chance to pass it without surgery but then again it is painful so I hear...

that sux...i have a condition where i get cronic kidney stones....i have had a couple surgerys for them...they will try the "non invasive" option first where they run high frequency waves thru her to try and crush up the stone so it can pass...they will probaby put a stent in her uriter to support it while it passes the fragrment....they will knock her out but she will be sore for a couple days after (i has a massive bruise on my lower back from it) and you will piss blood for a couple hrs after it...they will give her some good pain killers to take while she passes the fragments....also they will give her some "filter looking cones" to use while going to the bathroom so some of the fragrments can be caught so they can anaylize the stones and find out what she can do to prevent them (99% are diet related and can be fixed with a diet adjustment) unfortunally i am in the 1% and mine are genetic related and i pass them every now and then (most are small and not a big deal) but the big ones i woulndt wish that pain on anyone....some of the bad ones you just are wishin that you will black out just to not have to feel the pain....

I'll say a prayer for your mom. Hope she's 100% after the surgery.
