Monopoly Board Game Bull-hit of the day... - July 25, 2013, 11:58 AM

So I know everyone may not be Monopoly players but every since college, we (me and the college buddies) have made monopoly our go to game. Whenever we get together(we spread out up and down the east coast), we play a game. We have kept the tally of wins since sophomore year in college(2004). We have had arguments, mini fights, laughs, and a hell of amount of memories.

We have played multiple versions including the latest credit card edition which is pure BS. Monopoly should have some level of agreed disrespect and the credit version does not allow this disrespect. I will never and I mean NEVER give you a $50 when each player must pay the person who gets that chance card. You will get pink $5 and white $1...

Anyways...they have gone too far this time.

Monopoly Is Getting Rid of Jail to Appease Your Busy Kids

Article = HERE

WTF IS THIS?!?! Jail plays a key role in the game.

As you all can see, we take the game seriously...in a fun way. It is a great game to teach your kids how to budget, make thoughtful decisions, negotiate...and so on. Sometimes, its just better to leave original things alone. The original plain jane monopoly board is still the best made one out. $8 board game.

My sentiments exactly. Back in college, we literally would get out of class on Friday around 2 ish and go get some brews and order food(chinese/pizza of course) and roll them up.

Every Friday was a blast. Then we would go out at night. One of the memories/times I miss the most from my college days.

Four hours for Risk? We used to take days. We would photograph the board before we stopped to make sure that no one cheated.

Oh man....now we talking. Will definitely have to get with you on this.

Its funny when you play with people who don't know you REALLY play and see their faces when you don't count moves and already know what the totals are with and without houses when they land on your property. It's actually really funny when you start counting the money at the beginning and you just do it. People be like....."you already know the amount that's everyone gets?!?!"

Lmao

Someone should set up a BBQ Pool and Games day!

I used to have a Risk 2099 game. A futuristic version. And as kick ass as it was I couldn't find anyone to play it with.
