Monster Tajima Breaks Pike's Peak Hill Climb Record In Modified Suzuki - June 29, 2011, 01:22 PM

Imagine if they did something like this up thru Skyline Drive once a year.

Ride along with "Monster" Tajima as he makes the run up Pikes Peak in nine minutes, 51 seconds in his race-modified Suzuki SX4, breaking the record he set four years ago.

You should make a motion by starting a thread about it on here.

Next year should be really interesting since they are going to pave the entire thing, no more dirt. They are supposed to restructure the classes as well.

It seemed like he could have cut a few more seconds of his time if he wanted to.

I'll post up how long it takes me when I get back.

By the way, this reply - I actually was going to post it two days ago when I went through my portal and saw your reply. I just happened to get around to it today. That's how far ahead I am.

Are you kidding me! There are spectators in lounge chairs and picnicking less than 4ft off the racing line! And these cars / bikes / trucks are balling full out on an unpredictable racing surface!

OMG that sooooo fucking stoooopid. A tragedy just waiting to happen. I hope the organizers have enough common sense to end this practice before someone ends up dead.
