Moving Company to help move Gun Safe? - November 7, 2012, 07:25 AM

Moving out to Colorado via a uhaul and need help moving a big ol Gun Safe (565 lbs).

Anyone know of any local companies that can move from the house to the moving truck for me?

The piano movers that helped before won't touch it.

What are the exterior dimensions of the safe?
What are the interior dimensions of the smallest doorway on route?

Are there hallways on route to the truck?
If so what is(are) the width(s)?

Are there steps on route to the truck?
If so more than one set?
How many?

Distance from the current location to the truck?
Obstructions/considerations on route from the current location to the truck?

What are the provisions if the property being vacated is damaged while moving the safe?

Does the truck have a lift-gate?
If so what is the gate rated for?
If not what is the height of the truck bed?
Is the truck bed edge flat or is there a lip or any other type of obstruction?

What are you paying for this?
