Moving Company Recommendations? - April 4, 2018, 03:10 PM

Will be making a local move (15-20 miles) soon. Any recent recommendations of reputable moving companies? TIA.

You could save a significant amount of money by doing most of it yourself using Bungo Boxes.

It is by far the best $125 I ever spent for a move.

I've had friends do the U haul thing... You rent the truck then hire helpers for the loading and unloading, cheaper and they seemed pleased.

Yeah, I've done that several times, but in my old(er) age; not really looking forward to that.

You're doing none of the work except driving it to/from... They load and unload and I think they also have packers that come in.
