Music - What's hot and not on the radio - July 29, 2010, 09:10 PM

I'm interested in listening to knew music. I can't take the radio these days. Seems the talent pool that gets voted to the top just doesn't do it for me. Figured I'd ask here..

What are some of your favorite bands / artists / songs that you think are must haves?

i have a couple favs lately. I think i'm the only person that doesn't have an Itunes account and still buys Cds.

Rehab: The Band's Official Site - Welcome Home I like the rap/rock mix. The singer can really spit out the lyrics really fast. Sounds good.
http://murderbydeath.com is good rock
Dr. Dog (internet website) funky music from a PA band.
Jesus Knievel | Greatest Hits Volume 1 | CD Baby These guys were good friends of mine in high school. Funny songs. The album was recorded in Manassas. Songs like "I don't love you (but your titties I do)", "Sweet Pussy Pie" and "Tunaboat"
http://www.mickeyavalon.com I really liked his 2006 album

i have a few more but can't remember them

Against Me!'s new album 'White Crosses' is pretty decent. Also, Bad Religion is getting ready to release a new album.
