My Father In Law Needs Work - February 17, 2010, 10:59 AM

Hey everyone. My wife and I just purchased a house and my father in law has been helping do all of the work. Is anyone on the board needing some work done? His prices are very low and he does a good job. Attached are some pictures of the work has done. Shoot me a PM and I will shoot over contact info.

Sorry for the crappy pictures.

The old crappy Kitchen

He ripped out the old kitchen

New paint and tile

Fresh Paint and Recess Lights throughout the house

New Bathroom

Old Laundry room/Utility Room

New Laundry Room/Utility Room

Damn if only you posted this up last week. I just hired a contractor in my house yesterday to remodel both of my bathrooms and laundry room.

Nice. Have you posted "him" for hire on Craigslist yet?
I've had some out of work contractor friends get some work that way.
Pictures of work, or a link to a Photobucket account of past jobs, plus mentioning that they'd work on an hourly rates seem to work the best.

I'm looking to replace my crappy counter top in my kitchen. I'm pretty sure that would be an easy job for him considering what he's done to your house! Shoot me his contact info if you don't mind.

Would he come to MD? Also does he know how to build cabinets? I ripped out my pantry and am wanting a cabinet pantry put in. I know the amish near me can do it but if I can help out someone on here I'd be up for it.

How you gonna show pictures of the old kitchen but not the finished kitchen?

I'll keep him in mind for my bathroom...I need a complete remodel there.

Well he needs to finish the back splash first. I'll post new pics after everything is done.

Ha!! Yes he is retired and cannot stand to sit in the house and do nothing. So he like to remodel things as a side job. Whatever gets him out of my hair.
