Yeah they left it open because they don't even know what was causing the hole to begin with. They removed a mass the size of a gum ball and are sending it off for lab tests. I go back Monday for follow up.

glad to see they didnt cut the whole foot off...hahaha it will take a while to heal i just had somethong simuliar done on my ankle a month a go and its not even getting close to healing....take ur antibiotics and what ever they tell u to put on it.....good luck bro.
