I got a new dog.

For those of you that actually know me...you know that a Chiuahua is THE last dog I would get in the world. I can't STAND little dogs, the yap and nip and ugh... BUT....
I fell inlove with her at the local pet store and my daughter has been begging for the last three years on a consistant basis to get a dog.
This little dog is so cute and tiny, she never barks, she is so calm in your lap but plays all cute with both her paws in the air and she walks like a little clydesdale; all proud and high stepping...
She is 3 months old.

So since I have two cats and a townhouse with very little yard and no dog door...the best type of dog is a small, cute, little one that doesn't need a huge yard to bound around in and won't knock Laya down when she takes her for that 6am walk every morning WITHOUT me... yeah riiiight...

Kayla: born on 10/9/03

and we can't forget my two kitties that I got from the pound when they were only three weeks old...They are two years old now:

Isabella:

Chloe:

So far, the cats just sniff her and get up in her face and then walk away...they don't seem afraid, just curious. Kayla, ofcourse, is fearless and excited to meet them everytime they give her the time of day...

My daughter is so happy and so am I.

Post your animals pictures and tell their story if you want

Matt, those are extremely beautiful dogs. Do you show them?

Kepi, Scorch, get some pictures and post up.

Chico, do you have any pets?

Brooks, pretty dog, what color are Buster's eyes?

After you upload the picture just put "thumb_ in front of the name:

instead of http://.../..../albums/userpics/10069/dogs.JPG
DO http://.../.../albums/userpics/10069/thumb_dogs.JPG

Nope - no show, but thanks for the compliment.
The female is 15% timberwolf, so she cannot be shown. We started Search and Rescue training with her, but it is very time consuming and by the time we get certified I will need a pace maker. Not to mention I keep getting lost in the woods, luckily she knows how to get back to the car.

The male thinks he is the same size as your little one, and a lap dog.

Congrats on the addition to the family. I would suggest we introduce the dogs but mine would probably think the chi was a squirrel and terrify it.

Just curious, why did you guys buy Sheps? DId you grow up with them? Want them for guard dogs? Just a big dog?

I want to get an English Mastiff eventually, or a rhodesian ridgeback because they are beautiful dogs, but like I said before, my house isn't big enough and I don't have a great yard.
