My two latest projects - December 9, 2012, 07:33 AM

I picked this one up a couple of weeks ago. She runs, inspection is good until June of next year, I need to clean her up and get the clutch plates changed out. A 1985 Nighthawk 700S.

This one I picked up yesterday. A new battery is getting charged, tires are on the way, and I'm ordering new cables from Dime City so I can actually ride her. She has the least amount of rust of the three older Hondas I got this year. 1974 Honda CL360.

I'm not sure if I'm going to cafe her or not.

I have a 1975 CB360. They are decent bikes. Not as awesome as CB350s but close.

I get my cables from Motion Pro. Might be cheaper than Dime City.

I live in Woodbridge too. Ride that thing over. I rode one of my CB350s to Moe's yesterday for lunch with my friend on his Griso.

Yup. He originally wanted $900, he took $700 and into the truck bed she went.

Dime City has the cables for $12 each and they ship same day. I'm waiting on tires now, this bike's tires are pretty old and crusty. MFI ordered them for me, I'll have them install them and then I'll be on the road.

That 360 is nice! Definitely needs a set of dirt bars and center stand delete.

She does have the original Scrambler bar, and I have the original key.

So the new battery is dead on the CL360. I'm taking it back and will hopefully be getting a new one since it's less than one month old. Lubing the cables got them working, so I need to install the speedometer cable, which was missing, and take the carbs off to get worked on so they work with pods. I got Uni pods, which of course don't fit with the stock battery in place. So, while the carbs are being worked on I'll be snagging a new Lithium battery and modifying the battery box to fit the Lithium battery.
