I looked through them all and didn't see any names of friends I have over there. I hope it stays that way.

I can only thank those that are on the list. They have sacrificed everything, and their families and friends too. Thank you for allowing us to have the freedoms we now enjoy and will enjoy into the future.

Well said Fbolt -

Amen - and thank you to those who have yet to give the ultimate price.

Your post whoring knows no end does it...?

Leave the middle section out.

Godspeed to fallen soldiers. Not all of us say we support our troops because we think it is the PC thing to do. I personally think that everyone that has served in combat deserves the ultimate respect in this country. People that play sports or act or music are far from heroes in my book. These guys and gals paid the ulitmate price and did it willingly and without fanfare.

And I tell ya what....it pains me to hear the bad mouthing that is done about the men and women that have given there lives. We do what we do because it is our duty...we are proud to do it. And from experience, the only way that the men and women of the military know that you care and respect their contribution is to let them know. You can contact ships or commands and ask about how to send them care packages or during the holiday season how to participate in the Adopt a Sailor / Soldier program.

OK done rambling.
