Maryland was on there, but that'd have to be because of MoCo and probably HoCo to. Funny the list was predominatley East Coast to...

Pennsylvania should have been #1, hands down. If I see a PA tag anywhere in the country I know to stay away from it. There is a reason why the turnpike has concrete walls on both sides with limited exits.

My homestate should have been in the top 10 as well. The I'm-in-the-middle-of-a-cotton-field mentality that exists in MS drivers is a danger to everyone on the road.

LA drivers are horrible..

One reason, out west (anywhere west of the mississippi river outside big cities) has better drivers/driving.. is that there are so many less freakin' people

When I lived on the central coast of california.. I lived 20 miles from work.

It took me 18 minutes to get to work on the motorcycle.. i'd pass 4 total traffic lights, and i'd see... maybe.. 5 cars

*sigh*

I hate that turnpike!!! People think they're playing f*cking bumper cars out there!

The dc area is just too preoccupied to drive. I cant act like I smell of roses.

NYC was defintley the worst drivers ever. It was like Mad Max driving up there, and we were in a cab! Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Gaithersburg are all pretty bad to, no signals, dipping through traffic or stopping a whole lane for nothing. Even people in the hood of Bmore use their turn signals and let you merge but not NYC or DC. Tecknojoe, Fairfax drivers can't even talk about MD haha The DC area in general is defintley too preoccupied...Blackberries, Coffee, puttin on makeup, reading the Post, etc.

Hum, OK...maybe Virginia does not have the "worst" drivers however, "MOST DISTRACTED" would be difficult to argue

...careful out there peeps...drivers are out to get you and the sad part is that they don't even realize it

NY, NJ, Boston, etc. is a different animal than DC/VA/MD. The people in the northeast are generally a lot more aggressive behind the wheel, but they largely appear to be more competent. Thus, you see a lot of crazy stuff. Contrast that to their DC area brethren who I see as being super passive but less competent. This seems to precipitate a lot of stupid accidents. I'd never seen so many fender benders until I started commuting in NoVA.
