Need To Borrow: Trailer That Can Tow A Car - Woodbridge, VA - June 24, 2014, 04:21 PM

My car blew the engine in Richmond and I live in Woodbridge. I need to get the car back home somehow. My little folding trailer obviously can't handle it and it's an AWD vehicle so I can't/shouldn't tow it with the car trailers you can get from U-Haul. It is a mid-size sedan though so not huge weight.

I am turning to the community that always makes things happen and hoping someone has a trailer capable of towing a sedan that I could borrow for a day to bring my car home. I am located in Woodbridge, VA so someone nearby would be great.

Why not just unhook one of the driveshafts and use a car dolly?

Would me saying that I don't understand your Chinese be a good enough answer?

I really wouldn't know how to do that. Nor do I have the tools. I'm still working with starter set tools.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw in a quick Thanks for the responses. I was not aware that Uhaul had flatbeds so after you guys mentioned it, that's the route I went. $60 for the trailer (+ big truck gas) was way cheaper than having it towed from Richmond to Woodbridge.

You guys ever need any help just hit me up.
