Need help with MotoCrew for Triathlon - June 5, 2009, 07:54 PM

Folks,

I am new to the forum, but I have been at the SPOT in Herndon many times.

There is another triathlon coming up on Sunday, June 21st and they're looking for Motocrew help. This is part of the ITU World Championship Series (Olympic Class competitors in addition to other racers). Past Motocrew members have had a good time. The organizers have requested for 16 - 18 motocrew members. We only have about 6 signed up so far

The BMWBMW club has provided motocrew support in prior years. And, no, this is not a specific club event/request either. All bikes are welcome. And, NO, you will not be asked to stop DC traffic either. The roads are usually already blocked for the triathlon.

The moto crew is expected to help with carrying the judges / officials / camera crew etc. around the route. If interested, it is expected that you have an extra helmet for your passenger, but is not a necessity as that can be arranged. The ride starts early, around 6AM and is done by 1.30 - 2PM.
