Need help moving - June 28, 2006, 08:15 AM

Hey everyone, I'm looking for just a couple peeps to help me move. If anyone is available sunday (7/2) and wouldn't mind helping a guy out post up. For your time, I am offering to grill up some Angus burgers and pick up drink of your choice.

The move is from Ashburn (just off rt7) to Gainesville. My wife and I will already have all of the smaller stuff moved, but I'm going to need help moving 2 dressers, 2 old couches, queen matress and maybe a table and a tv. Not too much, shouldn't take long. Everything will be coming down 1 set of stairs from a second floor apartment, and then the dressers will have to go up 1 set of stairs at the house (everything else stays on first floor).

I should have a dolly for the dressers too.

Yeah, I've got truck and trailer. I just need another set of hands... or two.

Anyone? Anyone?

Shouldn't take more than an hour or two (at most) and you get a free lunch.

So... you have a truck and trailer so all of this should be done in one load?

(Just clarifying)

Right, and as you can see, I'm going to have to hand out numbers to keep the overwhelming demand to participate under control.

I would love to help you out if I could.
I am 2.5 months into a broken collarbone and my wife is still mowing the lawn.
I have been working out with about 5 or 10 lbs so I wouldn't be much help.

Sorry but I would be there for ya!!

I would help, but I am a skinny weakling girl. All the crap you're moving weighs 3X as much as me.

Ladies, you are exempt. I wouldn't want you to develop big arms or anything.

(and I don't wanna drop my furniture! haa haa!) No, just playing... my wife Jen will be helping out.
