  • Build responsibilities, menus and forms to meet the needs of the organization, maintain security and limit access.
  • Check Apache, Oracle DB, Oracle Application, Java and Linux logs daily to ensure the system is error free.
  • Tune the database and the application to cut back on long running jobs, queries and log-In wait times.
  • Maintain log swapping and log file removal as some logs can become very large and take up host file space.
  • Purge old data from schema tables to keep tables and tablespaces from growing too large and degrade in performance.
  • Compile Invalid Objects.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the workflow as well as workflow messages and logs.
  • Concurrent Manager tuning, troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Customization of forms, Oracle Reports, Applications and User Preferences.
  • Backup and recovery of the database, middleware and the application server using Rman and Veritas.
  • Red Hat system administration.
