Need recomendations for a VA divorce lawyer - March 1, 2010, 09:08 PM

We've been seperated for 6 months and its time to file. If it matters my address of record is in Loudon County.

Its a pretty cut and dry situation. No joint property, accounts and no kids. Advice please. I'd like to get this done soon.

Thanks guys.

No joint property or kids, save that for marriage #2

Easy! Go to the law library in fairfax(??) and make copies of the paper work and fill them out. Then file in district court.
Myself and my ex did it this way. Cost us $300 bucks if I remember correctly. Hell you dont need the ex to do it this way either. They just need to sign it.

Holy shit!! I'm sorry Steve!
I don't know any divorce lawyers cuz no one's dumb enough to marry my crazy but I sure hope you start coming out more.

Good luck and I hope it goes smooth.

Thanks for the recomendations folks. I'm gonna call them all and see who seems to be the best fit.

Jtatooz, don't be sorry. I'm not. It was my call and it was for the best. It is what it is.

Thanks again guys. .Net is always there to help.

I had a friend do it herself. It was almost the exact situation except they owned a condo. They worked it out themselves. You need to have one or two people awear that you have been seperated for '6 months'.
