Need For Speed Shift - October 29, 2009, 10:04 AM

What a crock of shit! I actually payed full price for this game and it sux! I thought the whole point of NFS was street racing and here they come with this politically correct bullshit of all track racing and while the game is loading it says if you want to race take it to the local track and wear a helmet and seat belt! WTF! NFS has gone down hill since I remeber it in my ps2 days! I cant be the only one that thinks this game sux for the $63 it cost!

GranTourismo!

NFS was awesome when the original couple of versions were released on the PS and PS2. Other than that, complete crapola.

Wasn't need for speed founded off of the "street racing concept", and "running from the police".

I rented it first and played for maybe 30 minutes. I hate that you can't use the d-pad for steering or x button for gas.

They need to bring Hot Pursuit back!

NFS took a turn to the more PC track racing before SHIFT. The story line is how the guy went from a street racer to becoming a legit pro racer.

apparently the physics engine was completely redone for SHIFT... though still arcade-ish, its much more a simulator than the other NFS games.

IMO- read reviews and buy games that are used
