Need Suggestions: Miami Bachelor Party - August 2, 2010, 12:15 PM

Long story short, have a good friend down in West Palm Beach was engaged to be married next year, then they decided to bump it up. So I'm flying down Thursday and we're heading out Thursday night for his bachelor party. Miami is a little over an hour away, so if there's stuff down there worth the trek, we're all game.

Suggestions, places to avoid, etc, etc??

Avoid Liberty City / Little Haiti area.

6 of us chartered a boat and spent half a day fishing about 18 miles off the Coast of South Beach. There's plenty of charter outfits down there.

We also rented a condo in South Beach for the weekend and used it for the Party Pad. It's much cheaper than a hotel once you factor things out. We bought some painters plastic drop clothes for when things got "out of control" with all the festivities.

King of Diamonds is probably the best Gentlemen's Club out there right now. Get in good with a few dancers (Buy 2 lapdances) and let them know you're down for a bachelor party and are looking for dancers for "the afterparty" - they'll know whats up and pass the word along to their girlfriends. Nothing better than having a private party with strippers.

Niki Beach, Liv, and BED are your big clubs down there. Lots of good stuff always happening.

Coconut Grove is kind of chill to walk around and site see. Nice looking houses and whatnot. Nice small upscale restaurants.

I'm missing some things, I know. It'll come back to me and I'll post.

Been a while since you've been to Miami hasn't it?

LIV, Club 50, Cafeina Lounge, 1020 Music Boxx and Aerobar are probably the most "popping" clubs in Miami (Southbeach and Dade).

The Wall is getting a lot of noise the past couple of months.

Nikki Beach, Prive, Opium and Mansion will always get an honorable mention when talking about Miami.

Bed is hot in NYC, but really kind of dead and not swank in MIA.

~3 years, yeah. I'm sort of burnt out on SOBE. I was there every year, sometimes 2x per year from 2001 - 2006.
