Need Virginia Notary advice - January 31, 2007, 01:53 PM

1 - I sold my truck on the 9th of this month and had BoS notarized by a teller at Penfed
2 - The title was not signed over until the 25th
3 - To transfer the warranty I must submit the transfer within 15 days of sale

Should I just ad a 1 and make it 19th when I fax in the BoS so I'm within the 15 days?
Are thier significant repercussions?
How independently verifiable/likely is this date going to be checked?
Should I just get another notorized BoS?

Get another notorized bill of sale and save yourself the heartache. How much did it cost....? 25 bucks maybe...? Pass it on to the new owner. They will understand.

Sometimes notary folk are right around you! Check within your company to see if anyone is one.

Just make a 1. Done!

"Riding a race bike is an art - a thing that you do because you feel something inside."

"I don't like being famous - it is like a prison. And driving for Ferrari would make it far worse."

"I race to win. If I am on the bike or in a car it will always be the same."

"I'm Valentino Rossi. And I want to be a person, not an icon."

add the 1, Dude.

Unless the notary took major notes it will never get noticed. I use to be a notary as well.

If you are that worried get Stacey to do it for you again.
