New bluetooth headset for women - July 23, 2009, 12:05 PM

I actually think this looks pretty good.

Sooo much better than the big penis sticking out your ear

http://gizmodo.com/5321173/this-ring...etooth-headset

This is Orb, a ring that transforms into a beautiful Bluetooth headset. Looks like sci-fi material, but it's an actual product coming in 2010. Good, because it's probably the first Bluetooth headset that looks great on a woman's ear:

There will be three models of the class 2 Bluetooth Orb: A $130 basic model—coming in January—a $175 Deluxe edition with a minuscule FOLED display, and a limited edition with actual precious gems on it, both coming in April 2010.

I love people that wear bluetooth earpieces around. They provide me with endless laughter.

I love the anticipation that they have. They wear the stupid thing ALL DAY and don't get one freakin' phone call. Seriously, you need to wear it all day? I've never received a phone call so damn important that I needed to stay prepared for it.

Haha, exactly. I also really enjoy the guys that wear them into bars/clubs where the music is loud as hell... I mean really? Even if you DO get that unlikely call (because you obviously have no friends as they would not want to hang around you because you wear a bluetooth headset in a bar), are you even going to be able to hear it? Or them hear you? Doubtful.

While driving - that's the only acceptable use of a bluetooth earpiece. And even then that is marginal.

I wonder if they are made smaller. I can't find a headset that fits my damn ear! They all fall off. I just found some ear plugs that semi fit my ear. I'd buy ANY headset that was small enough. Meh :/

You mean like this:

This is a scene/shot from one of these two episodes:
Rise of the Cybermen
The Age of Steel

All the time I was thinking, "Damn, they're going after everyone who's constantly got a bluetooth thing stuck in their ears," because like EVERYONE was wearing them in those two.
