New Ferrari LaFerarri, the Enzo Replacement - March 5, 2013, 09:30 AM

Absolutely stunning.
]

New Ferrari LaFerrari

"In this case, that includes a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 789 horsepower married to a 160-hp electric motor. The combination is good for a full 949 hp and 663 pound-feet of torque, and Ferrari says the LaFerrari can punch to 62 miles per hour in under three seconds. Keep your foot planted and 124 mph will click by in a scant seven seconds, while top speed sits at a lofty 205 mph.

Engineers turned to a total of four different types of hand-laminatated carbon fiber to create a chassis that's both stiffer and lighter than would have otherwise been possible. With a 41/59 weight distribution, carbon-ceramic brakes and ultra-light calipers, the LaFerrari is unlike anything we've seen from the company to date. The automaker says its creation is the fastest in its long history."

Looks ugly but functional. Electric motor sounds stupid. Do not want a hybrid Ferrari. Want a front engine V12 Ferrari.

Exactly. Its been employed in F1 for a couple years now, and proven very useful. The adaptive aerodynamic wings underneath the car are pretty sick. This car is going to be awesome, but just a touch out of my price range. Womp womp.

Ahh. Article didn't really state that. Not that I read it anyways. F40 is still the best mid engine Ferrari ever made. This new car is gay in comparison.

Beautiful!

I have an issue with the perception of the KERS. The only reason they exist in F1 is because the rules were written to encourage their use and push a green agenda. Changing the engine formula would yield greater performance per mass and per $.

Beautiful machine. The front reminds me eerily of the new vette.

yeah it doesn't look like the 458 at all, it looks like the vet, yep, that's it, like the Corvette.

or better

smash the vette, viper, mp1 and 458 together and you get this little thing.

I like the fact that they kept the top speed low and geared the car for acceleration. That 0-100 time is faster than a Bugatti SuperSport.
