I have ridden in them before, they are a lot more unstable compared to airplanes. those low pressure pockets of air drop the helicopter several feet at a time, it makes most people sick.

Congrats, Ray.

Pssst- as opposed to a the Yammy, there's a sweet Triumph 675 for sale in the Classifieds. If you really want to go balls out, there's also an KTM RC8 in there too.

Yeah T I am at the beach! lol, I moved back in with my mom and I am helping her with my grandmother, the good thing about my new job is that I will be traveling a lot for work so I won't need to rent or buy a place. I get paid pretty well, health and dental, company rental car, over time, and per deim, which is about $35 a day. It won't take me long at all to save up and buy a 2011 R6.

Thanks! I got a call this morning from the company, they offered me the job! I start out at 38k a year and after I learn the new equipment I get bumped up to 45k base! LiDAR is no mess work, all I have to do is ride in the Helicopter and press buttons! No more walking through mud to put points in, no more working in the rain, and best of all I get a company vehicle to drive! This job seems even better than my last one and I am going to be making just as much with overtime if not more!

I have already been looking at the 2011 R6, I just don't know what color I am going to be painting it because I don't like the color schemes they have for them.... I think I may go with about the same color as my last R6 only deeper red, so it looks black and has a red hue where the light reflects off it....

Congrats! I assume you were previously a field surveyor? I worked a few summers as a field surveyor a while back and trouncing through the woods doing boundary surveys really sucked.
