That's nothing...We have the Acela from DC to NYC to Boston. Oh wait, yeah, that does suck in comparison. Keep up the good work Amtrak.

Amtrak's travel time from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL: 16 hours or about 50mph.

That's when it's on time, btw. My train was hours late on both legs of the round trip.
